What the banks are trying to do
Based on their familiar "sob-story"
Of their commitments both old and new

MORE than fifty services will reel
In what one may dub a carpet sweep
To oil and grease their intake wheel
And ensure them huge profits to keep

HUGE profits are what banks make each year
Which, surely, even a fool can see
Bonuses they pay their staff are clear
Evidence of their viability!

CURRENT ACCOUNT holders will shudder
At what is being contemplated
How can they seek redress or other?
Where else can they be accommodated?
